For childhood memories, friendship, loss: Stand by me (1986)

Just finished watching a very touching movie, Stand By Me (1986) directed by Rob Reiner, based on Stephen King’s novel “The Body”. I think we can all identify with the childhood experiences and of friends who meant a great deal in our lives and shaped our personalities. The film is about growing up, friendship and the pain of disillusionment when the adults you depend upon let you down.

I recommend it to everyone and as a memory for intimate friends we’ve had and experienced loss of loved ones.

It’s about courage, guarding special memories, endurance of being strong and standing up for what you care for.
